Default Volume button/wheel issue

UPDATE: Contact Cleaner Fixed the issue!

Does anyone know how to remove and install the volume bottom right below the Engine Start button?

My button has been acting up and keeps getting worst. When I try and spin the wheel to raise the volume, nothing happens or it takes like 20 spins just to raise the volume up a few levels

It pulls straight up. When you get the new one, just push it down. Very easy.

Would this be the right part number?

Thanks!

I'll post an update after I install it.

I had the same issue, but didn't replace the ****. I saw on this forum another member had suggested removing the ****, and putting several drops of "DeoxIT" on the connections and letting it sit for 12 hours. Then I reinstalled and have been good as new. Good luck, but if your problem remains, I'd try the above.

I did something similar as 4 rings, but I used CRC QD Electronic Cleaner. Pulled the **** off, a quick spray into the area, and put the **** back on. Turned the **** "up and down" several times to work it in. Solved the problem for me!
