I never doubted you. My '08 A4 had the squeaky mouse sound, so that comment rang a bell. I checked my car again I don't see why the other guy thinks the armrest is the lid or the console, it seems clear to me it is an armrest, not a cover or lid. But, maybe he's got a point that Audi should at least think about integrating the two. Not a bad idea, and they should be listening to the upper tier of customers (us) for feedback.
