Default GIAC Tip chip

PES, Velocity, check the GIAC website and it lists dealers. Shifts seem much crisper, more so with the A6 than the S4 only because A6 was set up for more luxury ride. 0-60 maybe a slight improvement, in 1/4 mile a guess would be anywhere from .1 to .2 better. You will like the shifting alot better though with the chip. Nasa racer(S4 forum) is running a Tip chip in his S4 along with the GIAC ECU chip and turns 14.2 in 1/4 and that was in 90 degree weather and 1200' alt. Possible 14.05 at sea level and cooler. If you get the Tip chip and money is no concern, order a new Tip ECU to have the upgraded chip installed on. Keep the stock unit original and safley stored. WHen they open the Tip box the tabs get broken off and show that someone tampered with it. A new ECU for Tip would run ~ 500. Cost For Tip chip alone ~ 400, with ECu CHip its 300 plus 595 for ECU chip.
Shifting though is much improved. I wish I could give exact performance figures for the Tip chip.
