Flashing Climate Control Display
I'm still searching for a way of resetting the climate control system on my 98 A6 1.8T.
It all occured after the car battery was replaced. I watched the guy do it and he didn't interfere with anything at all, just 5 minutes to pull the old battery out and fit a new one.
I remember restarting the car and noticing the displays were now flashing. After 2 minutes they go stable. The a/c works fine.
I spoke to the local Audi dealer who said it needs resetting with a tool and would charge me £100 for the privilege!!!.
Anyone any ideas how I can do it?
