apparently magnaflow has a specific system dedicated for A6, item # 16493. There is a pic a little bit down the page:

Magnaflow site doesn't have much info:

Anybody know anything about this system? The price is VERY attractive for brand name stuff.

Default About to FINALLY pull the trigger...

OOOOOOkkkkkk.

So feel free to laugh, but I haven't done this yet and want it done NOW!!!

I think I'm finally set, but the shop I chose said he's not responsible for damaging any of the wiring in the rear parking sensors.

ANYONE have any wiring diagrams/pictures/advice on doing this!?!?!?!?

I'm thinking of just cat-back 2.5" with no resonator with no x-pipe and whatever Magnaflow fits back there. Haven't decided yet upon round or oval pipes.

He didn't seem at all comfortable doing gutting the pre-cats, which was discouraging since he's the one EVERYBODY recommended in Denver. Does it make a huge difference????

Thanks
Mummy

I had 6" round Magnaflows in the rear for a couple years. I just put the stock back on. I miss the sound on throttle, but it did drone! Stock all the way back to the mufflers. If anyone in the Il/Wi area is looking for some Magnaflows let me know. Give ya a good deal

Hey man, I am here in Denver with the exact same setup minus the parking sensors if you want to check it out before you bite the bullet. I did the pre-cats myself and the cat-back is basically 2.5” straight pipe into dual oval Magnaflow’s. They sound pretty good for the price and not too loud at all in the car, no drone. BTW, you may want to check with Salta to see if they can do it for you. They are pretty reasonable and have always stood behind the work they have done for me. I have never dealt with 3zero3 but I have dealt with Avalone in the past and they were a bit more expensive. Let me know if you want to check out the exhaust.
