HELP.,,going 65 on highway..when car made clunk sound..hesitated & check engine light came on..??

Default HELP.,,going 65 on highway..when car made clunk sound..hesitated & check engine light came on..??
Then light went off (in under 5 seconds) and didn't have any other problems/symptoms. I did have trouble starting my car yesterday morning (sounded flooded and had to keep cranking to finally start). I have 52K miles on my 99 A6.

Does it sound like I am in for some engine trouble?

Default Who's doing the service work on it and what have they done ?
Fuel filter?

Spark plugs?

Techron cocktail?

Coolant flush and change?

Air filter?

Default Service work by Audi dealer under "Audi Assured" warranty.....
though I don't think my dealer is very competent.
