Curious - when you say the ride was "better" with the PSS9's, what do you mean?
Also, interested in how often you changed the damper settings - did you use the intermediate settings? If so, did you notice anything, or did you just go from full soft to full hard and vice-versa?
Sorry for the questions, but there's been a fair amount of discussion about the setting adjustments on that system, and I like getting first hand info.
Thanks!!

I purchased my H&R's used and the ride quality never felt as good as when the...
CO's were new. That being said, I would have just bought new instead of trying to save a couple bucks. However knowing what I know now, since I've had both coilovers, I would just go with the Bilstein's.
They aren't that much more than the H&R's and the height adjustment is so much easier as there are two adjustment rings instead of one. So when adjusting the height you're not having to compress the entire spring like on the H&R's. I'm probably not explaining this right I'm not really tech savvy, however I did the install with my friend who owns a shop for both the H&R's and the Bilsteins and the Bilsteins are easier.
As for the damper settings. I currently have them set at 6, with 1 being the firmest and 9 being the softest. 9 is total luxo ride, uber float, 6, I feel is good for every day driving on city streets and I haven't set them to 1 yet. I've heard it's crazy firm. I change the settings when I do SMD (Sunday Morning Drives) with the local Audi group and I set them to 4, which is really firm IMO. Now I've never done a track day which I plan to, and when I do I plan on playing with the settings more and trying out setting 1. I don't change the settings very often, but when I do it's really easy. Would be easier if I had some ramps.
I hope this answers some of your questions. For someone who tracks their car as often as you do, I would recommend the PSS9's. You can drive to the track in total luxury, then crank down the dampers for the track and on then set them back and float home.
