but if you are about to buy/lease an Audi, why not take advantage (literally) of GM's newest desperat ... I mean promotion.
Now added to the 24 hour test drive, if you end up getting another make of car after the test drive you are supposed to be able to wring $250 out of GM. So I would suggest that you check out the latest corporate ads in a major newspaper, then pick up a Saab 9-3 or 9-5 Aero on a Saturday, drive the bejeebers out of it and return it on Sunday. Maybe even a 9-2X Aero if you want to drive the Saabaru.
Just be aware that they will run a credit app on you, and make sure that you and the dealership go over the loaner and your hostage car carefully and note mileage and all damages.
Read the fine print before you drive off, there is a radius you're not supposed to go past (I think was more than 100 miles from dealership), but if you drive 100 miles one way you have to drive 100 miles back, right? So you've got about 200 miles to play with in 24 hours. Good times.

They're thinking
I've fallen and I can't get up!
Some corporate types decided that, in the whole entire GM worldwide family, Saab and Scooby were the best fit. Uh OK, are we ignoring Australia and Germany for a reason?
If you check out the latest Car and Driver, their 9-2 review is actually quite favorable. And I can tell you from sitting in the upscale Aero that the interior has been pretty successfully de-riced and it's quite nice. As for the driving, well who knows? AWD has to be a good thing, yes?

the model they had was the 9-2 base... and it had the cloth seats
and th einterior looked exactly like the WRX... the top of the line model i'm sure is nicer with the xenons, leather seats and all. But when i shut the doors.. still scoobyish. I dunno.. i'd rather save the extra dough and get a WRX... but then I'd never buy a WRX so that's a moot point hahahahahha. I love my audi... AUDI AUDI AUDI AUDI AUDI AUDI AUDI!!! OWWWWWWWWDEEEEE!!! =PPPP
