Some audio help needed

Some audio help needed
I want to put a Nav system (DVD based) into my S6. I've got a bunch of questions.
First, is the in-dash CD changer a separate unit? Can it be commanded from a new Receiver?
Can the antenna on the roof (it's part of the S6) be used for the navigation system and/or XM radio?
finally, any opinions (and I know this board has lots of good opinions on things) on changing out the matching orange LED's everywhere by getting a new receiver which might be in blue or green or something else. the best in-dash unit I can find is the Alpine, which I think has green LED's.
Any ideas, thoughts opinioins and watchouts would be greatly appreciated.

The CD changer is integral to the Symphony unit but you may find that..
there is a cable for a CD changer run to the LH side locker in the boot area (same area where the tools are stored)
