What's the going stealership charge for a transmission fluid and filter change...
I'm at 51k and the front of the allroad sank today (wow, it looks slammed up there!), so I've got to get it into the dealer to fix whatever broke in the air suspension, and I guess it's time to clean out that "lifetime" fluid before my lifetime gets cut short. I'm under CPO for another 1.5 years, so it's going to be the dealership only on this one...

it depends on the dealership...
mine quoted me $350 (which seemed a bit high), but when I brought it up again today, they backtracked and said that they don't do drain and fills anymore, only top-offs as it's a "lifetime" fluid

Re: "mooches?" Is that what you (former) dealers refer to us loyal customers as? :^)
Speaking of dealers know of any good Audi shops in the area? Ive used Wagner a few times but would prefer an independent. Dave , Hopkinton

Check the New England forum...
(assuming you're in Hopkinton, MA or NH).
If in MA, Central Street Garage in Natick is a very well respected independent. People have also had good luck with Bernardi Audi in Natick -- used to be poor but has been improving of late.
