Has anyone tried the APR ECU upgrade for the A6/C6. I have had the APT tuning done for 3 VW Passats I owned, but never on an Audi.

APR is confused. They are advertising the same chip for the C5 4.2 and the C6 4.2. These are two different engines. The C6 4.2 (non-FSI) has 310 pounds of Torque and the so-called APR tune gets you 302. Why would anyone want to get a tune that results in less power? The chip is clearly for the C5, not the C6. Even your link refers to the C5 at the end.
