Default Help? Car no longer rings on incoming bluetooth call

I have a 2006 A6 with MMI (Nav, 6CD, Sirius, Bluetooth). When I first got the car (last month), my phone, a Sprint Sanyo Katana Eclipse, paired perfectly w/ the car, and when an incoming call would occur, the car would ring, and I could answer/talk/etc. At that point, the car had software 11.9.0. I then had a Dension Gateway 500 installed. After installation, my Bluetooth integration still worked perfectly.

I then had Audi fix a problem where the Bose DSP setting was lost, and in fixing that, they upgraded the software to 33.6.0. Now when I get an incoming call, the car audio mutes correctly, but the car doesn't ring. My phone still rings however. I can answer the call, talk normally, etc - just no ringer from the car speakers. I *do* get a weird .5 second sound that occurs one time only after about 3 seconds.

I have tried unpairing and re-pairing my phone with the car and no joy. Does anyone have a fix or know what is wrong?

Thanks,
Scott

i´ve read about that. after the update some settings for the bluetooth get lost or don´t work correctly any more. it is difficult to help you cause i have some troubles to write from german in english and also we vahe here another versions from the software. the newest one here is 5150 and yours is 3360? hm that´s difficult.

you can try a firmware upgrade on your phone. maybe that help. also it´s possible that they have forgot something. the mmi update goes step by step. If you dont update the mmi form one to another version it is possibly that some of the new files from the update don´t copy into the mmi. i had the same fault. you can try to drive to your audi partner and they should try the update again. maybe it helps.

i hope i have helped you and sorry for my bad english.

Default get the software up to the latest (41.40) or better. Also, delete the pairing and start over.

delete both from car and from phone.
