Thats not correct. there are plenty of cars out there that have no projector and have HIDs and there are cars that have projector and no HIDs. For example a few lexus' have no projector but have HIDs and my old Evo 9 had projectors without HIDs...so in essence there is plenty of overlapping.

My A6 has the Bi-Z's and so did a previous car and they are nice no question but my old Merc TDwagon uses standard halogen with the new Sylvania Silverstar Ultra or Elite and quite frankly.. they seem to perform better at least to these eye's. I live deep in the country (eastern washington) and lined up both cars and in my eye's and the wife's, the Halogen's showed objects further away on high and low beam although the BZ's seemed brighter around the car but just didn't reach as far..maybe there's some legit unbiased tests on the net so definitely don't go by my UFO testing.
