Default Just so you know....

If you hold the Engine stop button for 1/2 a second while in Drive the car will shut off. Can anyone think of a reason why it is still active while the car is in Drive. A new message comes on the driver diplay when you do this. SOmething like "Car may roll and Car cannot be locked unless it is on P."

Why would i try this u ask? Just in case a stupid curious passenger presses it.

Default did you know

That with a non-advanced key car, if the engine is running and you turn the key to restart the car nothing happens, the starter will not kick in. Very smart Audi feature. How many times have you heard that screeching metallic sound when someone tries to restart a running car? My garage guys do it all the time.

Default Pulling the parking brake won't hurt the car...

It activate thresh-hold braking if you keep pulling it up.

Default It sounds like learning about this car is more like a semester course than an evening read...

I can't wait...

Default It's an electric start, even without advanced key...

With a manual, you have to put your foot on the clutch to start the car. Turn the key, let go, press the clutch and the car starts.

Once it's running, the key will have no effect if you turn it again.

Did that make sense ???

sounds good to me - it also prevents you from starting the car in gear
