Your software is first generation software. It is version 7.5. If you update you will see significant improvements in Bluetooth and telephone connectivity.

Before you go for the upgrade, please be sure to read the sticky:

Also, if you are not overly familiar with upgrade processes and the length of time this can potentially take, be aware there is a very small chance you may brick your MMI...which would be a fate far worse than an unreliable BT connection

BTW, if you buy the latest update CD LMK and I'd be willing to host the files for all to use on my file server.

Don't bother to purchase from ebay. Purchase from genuineaudiparts.com. The disks are only about $7.50 each and then you know you will have OEM disks.

+have battery charger connected or car running while doing update....it takes some time...(atleast 2-3 times i updated my european version)

I was curious as well, since my info didn't seem to match the previous threads and words of wisdom I had read:
