2016 Audi A7 transmission hesitation/jerking

Update: Car shifts rough/jerks between gears when acceleration especially in sports mode and when slowing down it jerks a little with downshifting. Audi sent a new transmission software and the dealer redid calibration and it still sucks. IT surges sometimes..... I believe its a bad mechatronic unit. My dealer is going to send data to Audi on Monday and the car is left at the shop for now. I got A6 loaner and wow it shifts so silky in normal, sports and manual paddle shift. I miss this on my A7...

The data was sent to Audi and they confirmed new mechatronic unit will be ordered for me! If any one of you guys still have jerking and rough shifts between 1 to 2 to 3rd gear etc and downshifts that is not resolved with clutch adaptation. This is the reason.

Update: We got the mechatronic unit replaced first 3 weeks ago and then the transmission began to lurch and jerk so badly when downshifting as if someone rear ended you from gear 2 to 1 in dynamic mode and not normal mode so they then replaced the transmission with a new OEM audi transmission from Germany few days ago and I had to wait 2 weeks for it. The car shifts much smoothly now in normal mode without that jerkiness especially on downshift. The sports mode doesnt have that bad lurch when slowing down but has some rough shift between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd gear but its not always. Its far smoother but I was told to break it in 500 miles but only put 100 miles so far. The transmission is new and stiff so its still learning my driving style especially in dynamic mode but in normal mode is smooth as glass. I even used manual shifting and shifts so nicely without shuttering or stumbling. Its surprising that the A7 has this issue as its not the problematic DSG transmission but the new 8 ZF one and the dealer here is the best and they have gone all the way for me. I hope in the next few hundred miles the dynamic mode will shift quicker and smoother as the transmission breaks in as the engine and the rear driveshaft and differentials are 44k miles so need time for all components to work smoothly. Hope it works out man... my warranty is up in Feb (Audi Care next Sept) but all settled after my adaptation so hopefully nothing further with that.

The new transmission is nicely breaking in now and is shifting gears effortlessly in the dynamic mode and the normal mode is smooth during daily driving. No lurching or jerking feels anymore. I only have 300 miles on the trans so still have few hundred more to go for the ECU to adapt to my driving style.
