Advice Needed

Sammersam said "On my BMW there was a setting to have the right side mirror angle down when in reverse so you could more easily see the curb. Does anyone know if Audi has the same?"
You said "Yes. Turn the **** on the door to the right at 2'o clock for the right mirror tilting. Turn the **** to the left for the left mirror. Turning the **** to the 6'o clock raises both mirrors up."
I would like to do this too as I park in the city often - have been lucky that I haven't scratched the wheels yet.
The instructions do not seem to work for me. I have side assist - don't know if that has something to do with it.

You use the quotes in the wrong situation. Sammersam has said multiple things and right before your "Very weird, I can make this work at all. ", he said "Mine seems to work fine.. In the 6:00 position the mirros do fold back completely, but in the 6:00 position they are out and then the defroster works. " So anyone would assume you were talking about the 6'o clock position. So that's why I said "Which one of these can't your A7 do? " You could have just given a simple answer instead of the quotations.
