Does the A7 have those LEDs around the speedometer? I remember seeing a picture before the S7 came out that the LED pointed by the speedometer needle was glowing, but I didn't notice this during my test drive. I could care less for the variable Red-line but it'd be nice touch for some functionality provided by LEDs (if they exist on the A7).

A7 has no LEDs for RPM tach. and speed. tech correct?

Yes, there are LED-s around the speedometer. When you turn on the Adaptive Cruise control, the LED-s in the range it is effective in (30-150km) light up dimly. When you set the speed for the Cruise Control, the LED for that speed lights up. If you select a speed between two definite speeds, both LED-s light up to show the range and the speedometer pointer sits somewhere inbetween them. Say you set speed to 93 km, both the 90 and 100 LED-s light up. If you set it to 80km, only the one LED at 80 lights up.

Wow! Are the first one on your dealer's wait list?
I am tempted to put myself on the list too. I was ready to make an offer on the A7, then I was lured to the CLS. Actually made an offer on the Mercedes, but the dealer wanted to charge close to MSRP, so I decided to wait. Now that the S6/S7 have been announced, I am now leaning back towards Audi again. I think if the S6 and S7 come with some comfortable seats and have decent ride quality, I'll probably go with one of them. Still waiting on details of the BMW 6 series "Gran Coupe."
