Hi there. Something weird happened yesterday, and my 2016 A7 just started making audio announcements of accidents in the area, interrupting radio and any other audio playing. It's REALLY annoying, as I live in an area where there seem to be a lot of accidents during the commute hours.

I have cycled through all the usual menus but can't seem to find a way to turn this off.

Can anyone tell me how to silence these announcements?

U know what???!!...I had the same thing happened to me. All these annoying voice & visual (Written) traffic announcements keep coming all of the sudden this past few days and I can't turned them off. It will announce while my music playing and if I hit mute, the music would turn off but not the traffic announcements.

I was fiddling with VCDS a few weeks ago so I thought maybe that was the cause?? I thought I was alone with this problem.

Did u fiddle with VCDS on your car before this happened.

This afternoon, it finally stopped by itself....I don't know if it will last.

Anyone else have this problem?? Is it the online traffic Inrix the culprit or my stupid fiddling on VCDS cause this?
