my '97 A8 was at about 205k miles when I sold it. It's up to about 211k now.

These cars are truly great and the design is timeless. I have decided to to keep mine a little longer... planning to do a paint correction as soon as the weather cools down a bit. I also need to address a few of the "soft paint" pieces on the doors. Mainly the switch surrounds.
The previous owner did a poor job trying to redo them and it's wearing off. They looked great when I purchased the car and didn't even realize they were touched up - but clearly his prep work was lousy. Time to do it right.
