Default rear diff mounts

I have had a very annoying looseness or slack in the driveline for a while now. I only feel it going a couple of miles an hour as I'm coming to a stop. While I was installing the rear seals yesterday, I noticed that the differential is mounted with two bushings. One of them felt a little sloppy to me and I could see a very small crack in the rubber. I'm hoping that this might be the source of the problem. I'm sure these are lifetime bushings but when I bought my car, I tried to make it 1,200 miles with a fuel pump
cutting in and out (bad relay). When it cut out, it shook the whole car. I'm thinking maybe it stressed the bushings in the process. They look pretty easy to replace. What do you guys think ?

Default yes, there's a crossmember that bolts to the back of the diff and to the frame

as you can see in the pic (just one side). Looks like I can support the diff, unbolt the whole thing and change the bushings on the bench.

Default according to the master parts list on audipages, looks like the bushings are about $20 ea. For $40..

and maybe two hours worth of work, I'm going to swap them out. Can't hurt and I know going in it's probably a 1 in 10 chance it'll solve my problem.
