I must apologize that I ripped on the new A8 so badly based on the pictures of the car when they were first made available. In person, it is absolutely mind blowing. I love it! It makes the BWM look like a big bulky ugly car in my opinion. I do like the lines of the A8L. All the improvements were well thought out and done with the utmost class and attention to detail and performance.

I'm going to drive the car in a few days so I'll know more about performance aspect then, but as far as I know, based on appearance, Audi is staying on top of their game designing the most beautiful all wheel drive sedans out there.

I guess pictures can be really deceiving.

Now all I need to do is figure out how I can manage to have one.

My thoughts exactly. I wasn't too pumped about the look of the car until I saw one a month or so ago at a local dealer. It was stunning. Unbelievable how much detail is lost in the camera - similar to what happens with a very fine suit.
