So I'm getting a P0304 intermittent misfire in cylinder 4 only.
It only occurs when the engine is cold, and happens a few minutes after the car's been started and driven. The CEL starts blinking, idle gets rough, then the light goes away and things are ok from then on out. I've swapped the coil packs with another cylinder, and it's still misfiring on 4, so at least I have ruled out a bad coil pack. At the moment I have a new set of spark plugs on order from Autohausaz (gotta love their prices! Stealer wants $17 a piece compared to Autohausaz's $8! Plus no tax and free shipping!). Hopefully this and a tank of Techron will put this issue to rest. Can anyone think of anything else that may cause this? I just find it strange that it happens only after a cold start then runs fine from then on.

is there any oil in the cylinder??? faulty seal resulting in oil all over the spark plug
