Window switch removal help
What's the method to removing the switches? I don't want to crack anything. I'm usually quick at stuff like this as I've done a lot of stereo installations, but staring at them didn't give me the answer. Are the fronts different from the rears? I feel like I need to pry somewhere but keep scratching my head.
Thanks in advance.

silverd2, thanks for the image; I'll give it a shot tonight. Everything I read of people using screwdrivers leads them to end up breaking tabs. I'll be gentle.
I assume the master switch on drivers door has similar locks. If I'm not mistaken, it's all one piece with 4 window switches and rear window lock.
I recently purchased the 13 piece oCarbon interior kit and asked if they'd do the window switch surrounds as well. The black rubbery surface in the S8 is so easily scratched up and it drives me nuts.
My two biggest gripes with the S8 interior are the aforementioned trim bits, as well as the ugly wood that Audi chose for the interior. Both gripes solved I guess, unless I hate the CF when it arrives.
.The image posted by silverd2 separates the electrical portion of the switch (very small piece) from the back of the mechanical portion (the clicky bit) and the housing still remains.
After some fiddling, I learned you have to slide a very thin pry bar (I used a trim removal tool; I think a very thin putty knife could work too) between the switch housing and the trim panel itself. There are actually 4 hidden tabs for each switch! You have to do one side, then keep pressure from the front or they just click back in when you try to pry out the other side. Once I figured out one the rest were cake, but I think I stared at the first one for 3 hours.
Thanks all for the input. If anyone else ever needs to remove one, I'd be happy to post some photos.
