Default 2009/2010 nav road map?
How can I make this disc work with my Nav system in may 2007 S8? (8PO919884AH 2009/2010 Digital Road Map< North America)

Should work simply by inserting it into the drive. Do you have an older version that works? If not you may have an issue with the drive itself.

Is your MMI working again ?

Yep, the NAV drive is behind the panel in the trunk on the left hand side.

A note comes up on blue screen, "Please check navigation DVD"

Navigation unit can't read DVD. It can be poor quality of DVD if it is home burnt one, unit itself, or most likely both. Cleaning laser lens helps a bit, but not for long. New (factory refurbished) units are available for ~$800.

Default 2007 works fine
The 2007 disc works fine. This one which looks exactly the same, only the date(s) is different. I'll try it in a buddy's '08 S8 perhaps.
