you asking advise in the wrong place when it comes to maintenance.
as an independent Audi shop my 35k service price exceeds the $1000.00, ask the dealers exactly what is included in the service and then make your decision.
one example is the sunroof and plenum area drains, you may get a cheaper service and later spend thousands in water damage repairs.

I get my oil changes done for $50 and I bring the oil and the Audi tech provide the filter and Labor. I spent $250 getting the sunroof drains cleaned and they ran my radar detector wire down to the fuse box so I can tap it to a fuse. A air filter cost about $20.
With all that said, a 35K service still shouldnt cost over $400. Can you provide what you do for a 35K service?

Not that I would pay a dime for that service (I would do it myself), but it is always interesting to see how much is complainer charging for his hour and what is he doing for that money. Even more interesting, if one is employed, how much his company charges for his hour. I bet some here are dentists or lawyers, for example.

I was very upset at how much the bill was for the visit to see her until I remembered that my company charges more for an hour of my time.
So I look at it as value for value if it's something I don't know how or have the time to do.
I'd rather save the money and do it myself in most cases though.
