D3 Essentials ?
Anyone with knowledge , I am wanting to change pads\rotors on the Audi. It's an 2008 L. I was a little confused , I end up purchasing the Autophix V007 plus the Bentley publication software. Will this work or am I missing essential components?Once again thanks for anything.

Front brakes are very standard generic brake work. Hardest thing is simply refitting the brake pad retaining clip. Study it carefully as you remove it to get a sense of how it fits.
Rears are standard too, EXCEPT you need an electronic tool capable of resetting the rear brake pad thickness (Ross-Tech VCDS, etc.) and know how to wind the caliper pistons back in and related tool. Bentley manual will cover, though to run that you need a now very obsolete Windows XP or other Windows set up capable of running XP era software. Alternately search on prior posts.
Other than the rear parking brake set up, it is honestly hardly different than a Golf or a Toyota...just bigger.

You're welcome.
It is actually a great job to get up to speed on Audi wrenching, learn a bit about Audi mechanicals, look over suspension type wear issues at same time, and save a lot of money.
Plan to flush/bleed the brakes alongside. Audi/VW fluid has surprisingly good specs, and if you are in a cold weather area you would likely want the newer low temp ESP friendly spec anyway.
Frustration level tends to be higher in back due 90% of time to the parking brake reset stuff, and maybe 10% on the rear piston wind in. I bought a wind in tool some years ago to deal with Audis and VWs and have gotten my money's worth. Search if interested, or just look at some of the Audi enthusiast parts sites that sell tools too for the general idea.
