Drove home and acceleration had bad misfire and rough running. Yellow engine light would flash when accelerating from a stop.
Added a can of B-12 and next morning it ran much better, but not fixed. Drove the 60 miles round trip to work and the yellow light flashed a few times, then stayed on. Rest set while at work, came on leaving the parking lot.
The car runs better when the check engine light is on. Sometimes feels normal. But idles rough on start.
Topped off with gas from another station and added another can of Berryman B-12. then ran these scans. Also made an appointment to Bar Tuning for Monday in case it does not fix itself with injector cleaner.
Does this look like a bad gas issue, or do es it appear to be a real problem

Sorry, the TXT file had three scans and is too big to upload. But this is the only result that was not normal. I idled the car for 20 minutes and scanned three times, the check engine light only flashes when accelerating. Idled like normal after the second can of B-12.
After adding 4 gallons of different gas and another can of B-12 the CEL's are gone. Let sit for two days and drive the 30 miles to work this morning. Ran 80 on the Beltway.
But will take everyone's advice on plugs and coil packs. And a fuel filter.
Light footed it this morning. Still burning the suspect gas. The additional came in and trying to contact service department for coding. Will get them to pull TSB's and see if the coil packs have been changed. If they have will order 8 more to go with fresh plugs. If not will get the dealer to at least replace.
Thanks for all the good information. I plan on driving the car for 50K more miles.

I changed my fuel filter recently at around 180k miles. I held up the old one so the gas ran out the inlet and it was black as espresso.
Some day I'll sawzall it in half and post pics.

Incidentally it clips onto plastic line - no rubber hose necessary. Improved design from my '98 Passat, which sprung a leak in the rubber hose near the filter after ~100k.

I have crawled under to look over the panel. Will pull soon.
Not totally sure the issue was gas. But either the ignition problem fixed itself or the B-12 helped. But plugs and coil packs can only help.
It felt and sounded like one of my Mopars from the 70's when the choke would stick. Drove around with a paper clip in the glove compartments for roadside repairs.
Now just wish the dealer would return one of the four messages left about coding my new key. Going ask about open TSB's to see if these are original coil packs while there.
The previous owner only drove sporadically. He had a lot of vehicles. May not have gotten the recalls addressed.

Well new plugs and coil packs got it running better than ever. Think the Bosch plugs were original. With 74,500 miles.
It looks like the service campaign was performed. But only two coils packs were replaced. There were two types of coil packs. One recessed on top. 5
The other flat. The replacements were recessed. There were two coils with recessed tops and six flat top coils.
I like to think it runs better, crisper throttle response. No better mileage so far. But it may be wishful thinking. Spent four hours performing this, along with oil change. It was 95F, bright sun, and heat index was 105 in the shade. In the bright sun it was closer to 115. That sweat exercise had to make it faster, more efficient, and smoother.
