Honestly. No one on these forums gives even a thought of care as to how big your house is or what you own. If your intelligence matched your so called "financial well being" you wouldn't be on a forum acting like an ignorant child. You can take those antics to the Dodge forums where people will listen to your idiocy.
Given how many people I know up to their eyeballs in debt, nice stuff don't mean s*** to me. I know many of us other forum members could take pictures of their 401K and IRA reports, Brokerage Accounts, Clear Titles and such but that would be cocky. I know when I retire early or even if I lose my job for 3-4 years I won't be eating catfood.
I'm only a little older than Quattroporte dude and generally don't mention it on forums because it isn't relevant. Same for my dwelling, income and family wealth. This isn't a high school class reunion you're trying to win.

Owner's age?
I'm going to significantly "raise" the average age bar!! 75 1/2 two days ago. The '07 A8 is my wife's primary driver - she turned 67 this year.
This is the third Audi I've owned. Had a 100 in the late '80's, then bought what was probably the last '91 V8 Quattro manual transmission car from AUDI USA in Troy with 2,200 miles on it in late '91 (President's wife's car). Drove it for 150K miles -loved the car. Found the current D3 A8 with 55K on it about 3 months ago in suburban Chicago, gold exterior with tan interior - my wife's favorite color for her cars.
Even though my chronological calendar is well advanced, I still enjoy my car hobbies, try to do much of my own mechanical work (including all the maintenance on a 928 GTS three season car and a '89 928 S4 that I only drive to, from, and on Road Race tracks in the eastern US).
I'll be asking for a lot of advise from you experienced D3 owners over the next year, I"m sure.

If you are keeping TWO 928's alive you will be able to do anything with the A8. The 928 was my dream car in 1981-82 but I could not afford them. Now I await an R8....

Just hit 40, perfect time for my midlife crisis car, A8. Best car I've ever owned. Absolutely love and adore it. Have had Jaguar Vanden Plas, Infiniti Q45, and Lexus LS400, but the A8 is my all-time favorite.
