A few weeks ago, the TPMS was acting up, reset itself and today it just turned itself off, I can't even turn it on. What can cause this to happen?

I would scan the module for errors--msy give you a clue as to some related issue driving that. You have one of the unusual ones BTW with the turn off feature in MMI. Most don't. Mine started with it, but then it disappeared as an option at some dealer service in first few years. I don't think anyone has been able to explain why some (typically early ones) have it, others don't and especially what causes that MMI choice to be there or not.
