Need help with air fitting on air strut
Hello all, what is the fitting on the air strut that the air line connects to? Is this a check valve? The threads on mine broke (see picture) and I am wondering 2 things: 1. Where can I can get a new one. 2. The air line fitting is the same thread size: can I just screw the air line fitting in while I wait for a replacement part?

That should be a check valve. It is there to keep a minimum pressure in the strut. They say it can be damaged if pressure goes lower than that. Since it is already broken you have nothing to loose. Try screwing line directly.

I ended up threading the stock air line fitting into the strut. However, if it is a check valve with regulator it would be nice to know what pressure it is set at. It can't be a true check since there would need to be both intake and exhaust. Looking at the inside cavity, it looks like they drilled 4 small holes around the outside but I am not sure if there is a ball and spring inside.
