Default Tpms module

Hey guys I need to replace my tpms module in my 07 a8 but I'm not sure where it's located. I have read that's it in the trunk near the spare tire, I also read that's it behind the glove box, and lastly that it is under the passenger floor board.. any real world be awesome bc I really don't want to go on a treasure hunt for this piece. Thanks

+1 but I am not surprised with all those "instructions". We are getting more and more of that stuff recently.

...I read it on the Internet. It must be true. Never mind a yesteryear manual that costs money. That's for old fogey's with money to burn but short on time. I think I even saw a video, though it looked sort of a little like an A3; wondered why it didn't seem to have a trunk. Or maybe it was a Subaru? No matter though, Al Gore himself told me it must be right.

I ran into a video problem removing the console out of the Mercedes for a shifter repair. The gentleman kindly forgot to mention two of the hidden screws holding the wood in place. Fortunately, I could get a sense there was still screws in when I tried to pull on it, and didn't pull hard. Upon rechecking the video, I noticed the comment section was full of people angry about their now broken console after pulling too hard without removing those unmentioned screws. Always take what you find on the internet with a grain of salt, no matter how thorough they seem to be.
