Default Ya but, each tire pressure was the same all the way around. It was weird!

...and I did not stay in a Holiday Inn the night before.

Default Re: TPMS 2

OMG! For $1.4K parts alone plus labor, I think I will be thankful that my '04 allows me to turn off the warning via MMI. You know, I love my Audi, but to have to spend near $2K (with labor) to maintain a "nice to have" but not "need to have" feature like TMS is absurd and reinforces the feeling that many of us have that we're just targets to abuse. All manufacturers are culpable and none seem better than the rest but it really does **iss me off that we're taken advantage of. Anyway, thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread with great feedback.
I guess my last line of defense if that I just went out of warranty this week and bought a 2 year extension from the dealer with a $100 per occasion deductable. My A8L has less than 34K miles and is in perfect condition. Why would I trade it for a new model that looks the same, drives the same (but has a TMS system that works! ) I should see if this is covered, but I have a very strong feeling the answer is NO! Again, thanks to all.

It's Holiday Inn Express. Full service Holiday Inns don't count )
