I have the same yellow/amber suspension leveling light. Car will sit low on all 4 corners after a week but i hear thats somewhat normal with a 2004 w/ 133k miles. Some moron before me cut the front connection harnesses from the connectors that go to the sway bar endlinks. I assume this is where my error is coming from. Sadly they cut RIGHT on top of the harness not leaving me room to resolder. Anybody know how to repin a connector?

Moron indeed, but there are no electrical connectors to the sway bar end links. From the scan I would say those connectors are to the level sensors and they definitely have to be repaired.

yeah I was saying the general direction. Could see with the wheels in the way.

How could i repair them? I can see the wires (3 wires i believe) are just hanging there and the connector is entirely severed...

Can i buy connectors for these leveling controls with electrical wire tails?

I do not have the part number of the connector you need on hand at the moment, but check out the link in my thread for connectors, also check the opposite side for part number, unless that is gone also....

NO, but there are wire repair pieces available at the dealer or online, here are many on ECS, for every one wire you get two ends to use in connector.

.
JUST be sure to get the correct terminal end....

I had the same issue. They broke at the connector seals, so I could still see where each wire went and had enough slack to use the remaining wire, i.e. no pigtails needed. No soldering needed if you're adding terminals to the old cut wires. You should have enough room/wire slack if they're cut right at the connector.

I used Newark to order the connectors, TYCO 1-967616-1 and the correct terminals and wire seals should be recommended on their product page.

If you need help with the pinout, I took pictures, so I could post a diagram if you can't identify the proper pinout.

It wasn't that complicated, so I didn't take many pictures.

The connectors come off by pinching at the sides and pulling away.

Basically, you just strip a cm or so of the remaining wire you have so you can crimp terminals on. Make sure you place a wire seal onto the wire BEFORE crimping the terminals, so you can slide them down to cover the crimp. The green clip slides one mm or so to one side to allow you to insert the terminals/wires in until they click into position (they must be square and flush).

The pinout goes as follows: Green striped wire goes into pin 1 and blue striped wire goes into pin 6. Brown striped or yellow striped goes into pin 5.

Now the yellow suspension light is coming on intermittently, and the rear end seems high on the car, and the green suspension light is on in the morning. Arg. Any risk to the compressor at this point driving it or should I park it until the passenger strut I've ordered arrives? The driver was already replaced 8 or 9 days ago, just before I got into town to take possession of the car. I had arrived and in the day it took me to get plates on it, I had it in lift and jack mode to test the used strut that was installed, but to my surprise, the passenger side lost height! That's when I ordered the strut, but it seems to be progressing faster than the new(preowned) strut can get here.
