Sorry to say Cleex, but the current LKA is not something you should be relying on. It's an assist intended to compensate for a momentary lapse in concentration, not for you to bang out a text message or what have you. It's possible Audi made it wander a little with factory settings in order to discourage that sort of use.

understood and I don't rely on the system... otherwise I would have already had an accident. All I'm saying is that just a couple small changes would have made this system so much safer...i mean it's just dumb why it's even like that... my Hyundai genesis didn't cut off when the system wanted me to put my hands back on the wheel.... it would cut off after I didn't put my hands on the wheel after say a couple seconds when it asked me to.
