Snarky comments aside, I'll assume your 150mph was done with concern for safety in an area your were familiar with. Having said that, I "regularly" go WOT to triple digits and beyond. I only do it if I am 100% comfortable. When I do it, it is a thrill and a rush few undertakings can match. "Regularly" = 2-4 times per month, less in the winter.

@TinyElviss Yes it was in the area where I am very familiar with. Safety is always huge concern. My "regular" is 1-2 a month I don't have many opportunities. Most of my driving is from train station home and back and that's 2 miles a day lol.

My 2015 S8 has APR stage 1 tune, and I have run consistent 11.2's at Pittsburgh Intl drag strip and this was in mid to high 80"s temp. I have seen a easy 186 on a stretch of highway without another car around except for a panamara Turbo that waived as I went by. No family on this excursion but very safe conditions.

With my D4 in the driveway collecting dust, maybe I should go BMW hunting. They seem to be the likely target... 🎯

......just returned from visiting friends in Atlanta who have a Tesla Model 3..... they asked me to drive it.... they also were not used to triple-digit numbers lasting more than a few seconds. I think I cured them!

I love to drive fast, but I do it on the track. I have a track prepped 911 GT3 and Turbo that I use to fulfill my need for speed and they’re both way faster than my s8 around the track because... guess what the A8/S8 is a saloon.

i still don’t get what any of this has to do with proving “manhood” it’s so infantile and speaks volumes.

some of the best drivers in our group are women.
