more options would be nice but dynamics and black optics are a must.
unless you guys tell me i am full of it and dynamic package / sport differenzial is BS.
white and gray monsoon metallic would be nice but open to any color.
Audi warranty would be nice - not really put much value in third party warranties, but open to look at any car that fits my search profile.

case someone is close and thinking about getting something newer or looking to part with his.

would consider a fully transparent car from a dealership but only if it has CPO warranty and has 100% provenance.
i cannot fathom who would buy a car like this with 40k or 50k miles on with the carfax showing two services (some as late as 8k) and no other records.
but maybe i am just weird about these things... dealerships will not even reply to my request for detailed technical info on cars i have inquired about.
one sent me a video of a walk around where she shows the rear passenger mirrors. i kid you not.

I for one would say the sport diff is well worth it. Makes fast corners MUCH more enjoyable along with the sport steering. Without it the car sort of wallows.

Please keep in mind that you can't rely on Carfax only for true history/maintenance transparency. My Audi dealer doesn't send service records to Carfax. Nor, does my indy mechanic. So based on Carfax, I've never serviced my S8 or A8L in seven years.

and yes, i am aware of the pitfalls of carfax - what i mean to say is exactly to that point - these dealerships are genuinely annoyed when i ask about service records when all they give me is a carfax
and it shows nothin or a service here or there... i am wondering "really? i am the only to ever ask for this ? on a $50k purchase ?"...
i would not rely on carfax for anything, not even that a car never had an accident, but they are acting like that should be all i should look at and be happy that they gave me that much.
i never / rarely buy cars new or at dealerships - maybe it is just these crazy times...

Dynamic steering and the Sport Differential are what make this car special in cornering situations. My D4 keeps up with my Jag in the twisties......

pretty sure if you go with an S8, you get the sport package as standard.

I have a white with black interior 2014 S8 with 32,000 miles, all dealer serviced including the 35k service just completed. No issues at all. Just don't get to drive it much any more. I'm the second owner. I would consider selling it for the right price. Options include B&O stereo, full leather dash , adaptive cruise, it's totally loaded. PM me for more details.
