New S8 review. Love this guy's energy and excitement when he's driving the car.

Did he say towards the beginning of that video that there was a RS8? I had no idea they did one of those, surely that's a mistake on his part?

Didn't have the time to watch through the actual drive, but enthusiasm doesn't offset some incorrect statements such as: he says there's an RS8 (RSQ8 yes, but no RS8 to my knowledge) and he could have noted that you have the option of all-black trim or carbon fiber interior trim--he just "dings" the car for having the all-black trim option and not the carbon fiber...should have done some homework there IMO. Awesome car though.

Right on all fronts. However, I will give the guy this - it was pretty cool to see him drive through round abouts fairly aggressively. I don't know if that car has the predictive suspension but I would guess so. The seemingly lack of body roll at those fairly high speeds was great to watch!

Yes, it comes standard with the predictive active suspension, hence the 5,000+ lbs. The PAS does indeed help stabilize the corners and minimize body roll. Great to have if you drive like a demon, but literally wasted on an old guy (like me). 😵

Yeah he'd get a "zonk" for the RS8 comment and black interior, but still an entertaining video when he's driving it.

BTW: I'd take Piano Black over Carbon Fiber interior. I might be in the minority on that one, thou.

Think I’m in your camp on the Piano Black trim, even considering the higher maintenance quotient.
