Q re Anti-Theft Switch Locations and Addition to FAQ
I replaced my ignition switch last night. Since the FAQ was lacking any info of substance, I added a few links to posts that 'should' have been in the FAQ and a little of my own experience.

I was hoping that replacing the ig sw would shape up my alarm...it didn't. My '92 100 CS won't arm. Each door will turn on the dome light when opened, so I suspect a hood or trunk switch.
What do the switches on the hood and trunk look like? Where are they...on the body or the lid? (I looked all over last night and couldn't ID them, and Bentley conveniently leaves that out of their manual it seems.) Can I just ground them to test them?

https://forums.audiworld.com/a6100/msgs/51133.phtml</a
