Default Replaced Engine Temp. Sensor

Car idles fine at just under 1000rpm and needle stays in one place. stopping fast and taking off the car will sometimes stall or just be very sluggish. replaced EGR valve. any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

Before you spend too much money maybe you should have a scan for codes. There are a few things that need to happen when you take off.

The engine speed sensor, the throttle position switch, the vehicle speed sensor, the mass air flow sensor, the engine temperature sensor are all sending information to the ECU.
Based on this information the ECU will adjust the valve timing, the ignition timing and the fuel/air mixture to achieve the speed of take off you require.
There are other components which also play a part but this is the basics.
Rather not guess at what the problem could be it could get expensive.
