A6 to audi coupe?

A6 to audi coupe?
wondering how much work other then the obvious would be required to make it work?...lol
other then completely rewiring the engine bay and front end as well as custom built shift linkage and all that stuff?
is there something else that would be good in threre?

Re: A6 to audi coupe?
if you're talking about the 4.2, you don't need a shift linkage, the 4.2 will mate to the coupe transmission, believe it or not.
you'd have to have custom motor mount arms attached somehow. and the wiring is a nightmare, since i'm assuming you'd want a manual tranny, the tiptronic control is integrated into the ecu, and none of your existing brake and gauge wiring will work poroperly without some major changes.
basically, the cost and work negates it's benefit.
oh, also, you'd need new half-shafts, as the 4,2 would shred them.
you'd be much better off with a 3B in there.

3b
3b is the engine code for the 5cyl 20vt that came in the 91 200tq, great powerplant that pumps out about 220hp stock and has no problem producing 400 reliably. And its plenty road worthy.
