so there i am comeing down the road from the mountain and boom my oxs battery and brake lights all come on like the car died on me. i glanced at the volt meter and it went red. turned my lights off and it went back up. the car seems to run fine butt the warning lights wont go away any one know why the could have happend?

my old grey 85 did this and my bros 87 does it i thought it was normal in the 4k

I had similar problems on my CGT, my digidash would decide to reset, and the annunciator lights (including seatbelt warning light would come on). If your voltage is going below 11-12v, then, check your battery. I had a short in my battery. A new battery solved the whole problem. The squeeky belt should be fixed as well, but may be agrivated by the high loading on the alternator, caused by the battery. Best of luck, Dan
