Default 5ktq blew up... headgasket? NF swap time?

I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Could of course be a cracked head, but we'll have to pull it to see. I was running hard after blowing away a WRX on the freeway (16 psi MC1 rolling in 4th has some punch!) and the idle went wonky, temp light came on the Autocheck, and huge white clouds came out the tailpipe. AAA tow, and she's back at home.

If I wish to use an NF head, I just switch the MC's sodium exh valves in, right? Nothing else to be modded or machined?

Gonna try out the set of Mercedes V8 CIS injectors I have around from one of my "other" obsessions- the 126 S class.

Default NF swap info..

that is correct, you need to swap in the sodium filled valves, everything else is plug and play, definately check out the condition of the old head etc, new headgasket during the swap.. it's a pretty straight forward job. sorry to hear and good luck. feel free to contact me about the nf swap if you need to.
