Differential pressure regulator?
Recently replaced fuel pump (there's no fuel coming into engine once, car would not start) and ignition switch, no help. My friend told me that there might be something wrong with the gas regulator which connected to the computer. The only thing on the manual with a wire is the differential pressure regulator, and I did have gas sipping problem before, but it self sealed later.
Now, after reading so many threads about DPR, I have a couple questions:
1) Is DPR the problem? Sounds most likely to me.
2) It looks easy to just swap one. But is there anything need to be careful about?
3) Some say DPRs from different models are interchangeable. Is it true? So I can just grab any DPR (1987-1991) and replace it? It's hard to find exact model of my car (1988 Audi 90, no quattro) in our local junk yards
4) If buy new, is there any place selling it for less than $200?
Thanks
