Do relays click when they go bad? (longish)

Default I'll keep that in mind...

I can't be positive it's behind the dash, that's just where it seemed to come from, but I really didn't look into much. By process of elimination yesterday, I *think* it might be the heated seats, but if it turns out not to be, I'll come back to you ;-) Thanks for chiming in!

Default I have spare relays anyway...

and I guess it's easy to figure which one is bad--just touch them and you'll feel the clicking--but it may take a little while to get the car into the shop, so that trick of yours will spare my sanity ;-) It's cold enough to NEED the seat warmers but the clicking drives me batty!

its not the relay thats bad, its the switch, try swapping switches (right for left)
