Hiya I wanted to switch engines in my Audi 80 86 on a d reg its got standard 1.8 I wanted to put in the famious 5 cylinder 2.0 quattro engine in I was wanting to knw can I use the gearbox from the 1.8 and are the mounting points the same ect????

Were are you located?You will need the 5 cylinder mounts.Dibs on the 1.8 mounts .Those things are like gold in the us.We need them for 1.8t swaps.
