Gamma volume problems...

Gamma volume problems...
When I turn my volume up on my Gamma the whole unit shuts off. I have to slowly turn it on just to get it to come on. I have searched the forum and I think it might be the volume control switch. Where would I find such an item at and how do I change it out? Thanks for the help.

Really? Buy a working radio...didn't think of that one. Thanks for the help but I am actually trying to fix the problem, hence the posting on an Audi forum. I actually sent it to Blaupunkt for repair as they told me they do not sell parts to the general public.
