Low speed brake vibration / No cruise control
Hi all, new to the forum and to Audi ownership. I'm having some issues with my recently purchased 1995 90 Quattro Sport. The ABS has a chatter at low speed. Also the cruise control is not working at all. Could this all be related to a wheel sensor thats bad or out of adjustment? Also, when the cruise is activated is there a light indication on the instrument cluster? Thanks in advance for the info.

Are you attempting to lock up the brakes or just come to a normal stop?
When my ABS kicks in under lock up it sounds like the world is ending - that solenoid bank under the hood is not quiet. If you are just normal stopping ABS is not the issue. Like colorado chaos says it could be warped rotors or build up on the rotors or stuck caliper pins or....
The cruise control is one of those things most of us have learned to live without. Mine has never worked and I don't miss it.

Re: no dash indicator for CC and your ABS issue could be a sensor....
The car brakes fine, the brake rotors and pads were recently replaced, is the speed sensor tied into the Cruise? I really need the cruise as I drive over 1000 miles a week.
