Steering Column

How difficult is it to replace a steering column? I took a look in Bentley, and it doesn't appear to be so tough. Anyone with experience care to respond?

Funny you should ask....

I did it today... sort of. I wanted to take the steering column out but I didn't have a drill to remove the ignition lock so I removed the entire dash with the steering column. Fairly easy though if you have a drill.

Only way the ignition lock comes out of the column. Don't worry Audi sells a bolt...

for putting it back in. Settle down ok? :P
