Hi i tried to activate the function on my sisters A1 1.4 tsi....think thats it........its got factory sat nav,have vcds but couldnt get it to work any ideas? its a 2011 car with rear parking sensors...only bleeps at the moment

n the parking aid control unit gives you the option of the Audi A1 8X to activate the visual display of the parking aid via the MMI, even if only the 'small' is installed for rear parking aid.

Bit 2-3 (08 visual display active (BAP NEW) selection)

STG adjustment -> function 10

Select "Visual display for park assist"

New Value: OPS Display

Select Byte 0
Bit 3 Enable
(08 visual representation active (BAP NEW) Select)
MMI reset
(press and hold down the Return key -1- (Back), the confirmation button -2-, -3- and the scroll key at the same time. The MMI then goes down and restarts. Takes about 60 seconds)

Alternatively, should active Bit 3 not function display
